Hi Everyone,
The golf course has opened up and we are starting to see increased activity from our members and our Montezuma High School golfers as well. This year’s team is coached by Liesle Roorda and Randy Masterson with 13 boys and 7 girls . You will see them out here practicing after school. Their first golf meet is April 5 at 4:00, followed by one on the 15th,19th, and 29th. Good luck this year to both our teams. It is good to see our students taking up the game.
The Ladies season kicks off on Thursday April 1, with the annual potluck luncheon at 12:15 with Bridge, Dominos, and 500 starting at 1:00. Marna Supple is the chairperson and she wants to encourage members to bring a guest who might be interested in joining our club. If they are new in the area, it is a great way to meet people.
The next Sunday Breakfast is April 18th. Our hosts are Doug and Deb Vermeer, assisted by Brandt & Amy Vermeer, Doug & Mindy Johnston, Lorna Christensen, and Wayne Davis. There will be more details as we get closer to the date

Help Wanted.
We are now taking applications for the upcoming golf season. We are looking for bartenders primarily involving afternoons and alternating weekends. We will do our best to fit your schedule. We will be taking delivery of a new cash register that will be much simpler to operate and will make training new employees, as well as our Manager, much easier. If you, or anyone you know is interested in applying, please contact Dave Elbert @515-360-1150
or email delbert4224@gmail .com.
Patio Furniture wanted for the pool area. If anyone has extra furniture they would like to donate, we could use some new furnishings around the pool.
Please keep your eyes open for moving sales where we could pick up some new loungers or umbrella tables with chairs.
Harry Meek of Cyclone Pet Control donated a high tech fly trap for the front room that will hopefully attract insects to that instead of our window sills. Thank you for that and all of your help in keeping our pest problem to a minimum.
Have a good week,
Dave Elbert
Clubhouse Manager.
